GMC Makes Interim Order against Kent surgeon David Bruce Jackson

The GMC panel considered evidence from a number of Mr Jackson's patients including a woman who had suffered a bowel perforation during a routine tummy-tuck operation.

Michelmores' Kevin Finneran is investigating claims for women in Kent who allege that breast reconstruction operations performed by Mr Jackson were carried out negligently and claims for substantial damages will be made once inquiries have been completed. Treatment is understood to have been carried out by Mr Jackson at various hospitals run by East Kent Hospitals NHS Trust including Kent and Canterbury Hospital at Canterbury, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital in Margate and Buckland Hospital Dover.
